Following the re-signing of Ruaidhri Higgins and Gerard Doherty, City’s experienced right-back Eddie McCallion has signed a one year deal this afternoon.
Speaking to Kevin McLaughlin of the Sentinel, Eddie said that he was now looking forward to the new season:
“Thankfully now everything is sorted out and I have signed a one year deal.”
“Now that my future is sorted I’m already looking forward to the season coming up, my aim is to continue what I have been doing for the last 14 odd years and try to impress the new manager.”
“With such a young squad last season we weren’t that far away from the title, so hopefully we can build on last season’s success and you never know where that will take us.”
