Information for supporters travelling to Setanta Cup final

Derry City have received the following information for supporters travelling to the Setanta Cup Final this Saturday at 4pm.

The Harbour Industrial Estate is free for Derry City fans to park at this location as the Harbour Police have agreed not to enforce parking restrictions in place there for the duration of the fixture for those attending the match. All buses and cars are asked to park at this location or alternatively to park in the Odyssey Car Parks.

Derry City F.C. supporters are asked to enter and exit the ground using the City End Turnstiles, having approached the ground via Dee Street Bridge and through the covered walkway at Harkness Parade. This arrangement is the same as on other occasions when Derry City F.C. have visited the Oval in the past.

Any supporter without a ticket will be turned away from the ground. No Ticket, No Admission. Tickets are available from the Brandywell 10am-4pm daily.

Any supporter  who appears to be under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted access to the ground.

Derry City F.C. supporters with Terrace Tickets will be located in an area of the unreserved terrace at the City End of the ground.
Derry City F.C. supporters with seated tickets will be located in the Railway Stand.

Derry City F.C. supporters are reminded that it is now illegal under the Justice Act (NI) 2011 and the PSV (NI) Regs 1985 to possess or consume alcohol on a vehicle going to or from a regulated match in Northern Ireland. The Setanta Cup Final is deemed a ‘regulated match’ under this legislation and as such can lead to a fine of £1000 or up to 3 months in prison upon conviction for such an offence and the vehicle operator can be fined £2,500 for allowing alcohol to be consumed or carried on their vehicle.

Derry City F.C. supporters are asked to co-operate with the Stewards at all times during the fixture. Derry City F.C. will have their Stewards in attendance at the game.
