Derry City are delighted to confirm that both Joshua Daniels and Nathan Boyle have signed new contracts.

The pair will remain at the Brandywell until at least the end of the 2017 season.

Manager Kenny Shiels was delighted that the duo have signed new deals.

“They are two promising young players,” said Shiels.

“I would like to get them longer deals and that’s in the process as well and I’m hoping to talk to them again next April or May to extend them even further, but in the meantime it’s great to get them tied up for next season.

“It’s two more Derry boys signed up, which makes ten players signed up for next season and every one of them is from Derry or Donegal.”
