SD Galway 1 – 1 Longford Town

A gutsy and spirited performance earned SD Galway a deserved point against the league leaders Longford Town on Friday night in Terryland Park.

Wexford Youths 2 – 0 Mervue United

Mervue United beat Wexford Youths three times last season and scored five times on their last visit to Ferrycarrig. Shamrock Rovers 2 – 0 Bohemians

A beautiful strike from Gary Twigg and a late Billy Dennehy goal gave Shamrock Rovers the three points from an entertaining Dublin derby against Bohemians at the Tallaght Stadium on Friday night.

Drogheda United 2 – 0 Derry City

Drogheda United put on their most commanding performance of the season so far to see off ten man Derry City side on Friday night. UCD 3 – 2 Monaghan United

It was a second home win of the season for UCD on Friday night as they won by the odd goal in five. A goalless first half was quickly forgot as the 244 spectators were treated to a second half goal fest culminating in a Jordan Keegan wondergoal.

Shelbourne 1 – 1 St. Patrick's Athletic

St. Patrick's Athletic were made to wait for their first win over Shelbourne in almost a decade after the Reds held out for a 1-1 draw in Tolka Park on Friday night.

Cork City 1 – 1 Bray Wanderers

Cork City may have got off to the perfect start at home to Bray Wanderers on Friday night but once again they were pegged back by a spirited Seagulls side at Turner’s Cross.
