City’s European application rejected
Derry City’s application to gain entry to next season’s European competition has been rejected.

City drawn to face Linfield
City have been drawn to play Linfield in the Setanta Sports Cup second round.
The Candystripes travel to Windsor for the first leg, which is scheduled to take place on the 5th March. The second leg in the Brandywell will be 20th March. However these games may be dependent on TV schedules and kick off times TBC
Seventh heaven as City advance
Derry City 3 Distillery 0(7-0 on aggregate)
City continued their form from the first leg as theybreezed past Distillery to advance to the Setanta Sports Cup second round. Goals from Patrick McEleney, Stephen McLaughlin and Rory Patterson were on the scoresheet as City recorded their first home victory of the 2012 season.

New outlets for City merchandise
Derry City are delighted to announce that they have partnered with a range of local outlets in order to offer merchandise to supporters at a variety of locations throughout the City.
The items will be available in a variety of outlets throughout the city in the coming weeks.
City continue additions as McCaffrey signs
Derry City FC are delighted to announce that they have signed Dermot McCaffrey from Dungannon Swifts.
McCaffrey, a former Northern Ireland U-21 international is versatile defender and is from Clogher and joins the Candystripes for the 2012 season.
Beat the Banker Cancelled
The Derry City Development Committee have taken the decision to cancel the “Beat the Banker” show which was to take place on Saturday in the Millenium Forum.
City awarded Premier Division Licence for 2012
The club received notification of the decision from the FAI Club Licensing Committee.
The board would like to take this opportunity to thanks all those involved in preparing the license application for their efforts.
Derry sign Wolves winger McGroary
Derry City have signed winger Brian McGroary on a one-year deal from Wolves.
McGroary, originally from Donegal Town, revealed that had a number of options available to him before opting to come to the Brandywell.
