Sammy Morrow joined Derry City in July 2007 from SPL side Hibernian. He was a regular in the Northern Ireland U21 squad and also played with Ipswich Town and Livingston.

Morrow, raised in Limavady, had a horrendous time with injury missing the latter part of the 2007 season and the early part of the 2008 season.

All City fans were delighted to see him back in the Candystriped jersey last season, scoring 8 goals - including a hat-trick in the League Cup Final.
