Steven Gray

Steven learned his trade with Leixlip United, Cherry Orchard and Verona, along with a spell at Southampton.

Signed for Drogheda United in 2003, was voted Player of the Year by the fans the following year and also nominated by the League's managers for the Team of the Season in the same year.

During the 2007 season, he struggled to dislodge the Jason Gavin and Graham Gartland partnership before opting for the Candystripes at the beginning of the 2008 season.

Steven is an extremely adaptable defender, equally assured at the centre of the defence or at left-back. His raiding runs down the left flank have been an important element of City's attacking play.
