Central defender Clive Delaney rejoined Derry City from Bray Wanderers on a 2 year deal in February 2008.
He made 77 appearances over 3 seasons in his first spell with the club, scoring 3 goals and captaining the side on two occasions.
Clive's last appearance in his first spell at City was the memorable 4-3 FAI Cup Final victory over St Patrick's Athletic at Lansdowne Road in December 2006 - and it was his equalising goal late in the second-half which saw City force the game into extra-time.
