Mark is a left-footed defender who rejoined Derry City for a second spell in August 2007 following a short spell at Partick Thistle.

He began his career with Wolves, spending three years at Molineux before returning home to sign for Derry City in April 2003. He spent three seasons at City before beiing released in December 2006.

Mark captained the Northern Ireland U21 side and has been also capped at schoolboy and U19 level.
