City welcome midfielder Conor McCormack back to the Candystripes.
McCormack initially signed for the Candystripes in July 2015 and spent a season and a half at Brandywell before heading to Turners Cross in November 2016.
The 29-year-old has spent the last three seasons with Cork City and won the league and FAI Cup double in 2017 before being handed the captain’s armband in 2018.
Prior to his first spell on Foyleside, the Louth man was a Manchester United youth player and spent time with Italian Serie B side Triestina before also playing with Irish sides Shamrock Rovers & St. Patrick’s Athletic.
City manager Declan Devine is delighted to add the midfielder to the Brandywell ranks on a two-year contract.
The Candystripes are due to kick off their 2020 season away to champions Dundalk on February 14th.
